A recent job that My Sheet Metal Guy handled was the fabrication of a unique copper leader head. The client wanted 4 of these leader heads fabricated out of 16 oz. copper, circular in shape in order to catch rainwater and direct it into a downspout. A photo of the product can be seen below, showcasing the craftsmanship and design.
Solder was used on the inside of the leader head in order to ensure that no water would leak, also providing good structural stability. In addition, soldering the inside allowed for a nice, clean finished exterior, something that the homeowner is proud to display.
